RACE TICKETS
With overtaking notoriously difficult at the Hungaroring, an element of extra excitement is added to the qualifying stages of the Hungarian Grand Prix. A technically challenging race, its also one of the hottest events of the season. And with the circuit just 15 miles from Budapest, theres plenty of culture and history to take in as well.
The Hungarian Grand Prix dates back to the mid-1980s and has always been run at the Hungaroring. While much of the track remains narrow and twisting, the main straight was lengthened in 2003. The widening of the first corner also contributes to increased overtaking opportunities. This circuit often produces very close racing and is therefore a favourite both with the enthusiastic local crowd and visitors from abroad.

Whichever side of the river you choose to stay on, the other is not far away and it is easy to get around the city on foot or by public transport a cruise on the Danube is also a very pleasant way to spend some free time and gives you an excellent view of many of the citys main sights. On arrival you will be met and taken on the short journey by coach to your hotel where accommodation has been arranged on bed and breakfast basis. The rest of the day is free to enjoy at your leisure. Friday 1 and Saturday 2 August At leisure for sightseeing and shopping in Budapest. A coach transfer to the circuit will be available the day after arrival for those who wish to go to the Hungaroring for practice and qualifying sessions. Sunday 3 August After an early breakfast you will leave the hotel by coach for the circuit and a full day of F1 action. You will return to Budapest at the end of the days racing. Monday 4 August Depart for the airport by coach for your return flight.
GRANDSTANDS
Super Gold tickets give you a numbered, covered seat. All remaining Gold and Silver Grandstands have numbered, uncovered seats. Most of the spectator facilities are located in the Gold Grandstand area.

Located in the historic Castle District on the Buda side of the city, this first class hotel is close to the Fishermans Bastion and Hungarys gothic coronation church.
