DAY 7 Fiera di Primiero We drive north to the stunning Dolomite Mountains and our hotel, the Hotel Castel Pietra, for our four-night stay. DAYS 8 10 Fiera di Primiero Enjoy our included walk through some of the glorious surrounding countryside to discover the hidden wildlife and flora of the area. Perhaps join our optional excursions: Mountain Tour (full day) This full-day tour takes in the spectacular scenery of the Dolomites. Picturesque towns and villages abound, including lakefront Alleghe, nestled at the foot of Monte Civetta. We also visit Sottoguda, site of a dramatic gorge; and Fedaia Lake, its crystal-clear waters set amongst mountain peaks. Marostica & Bassano del Grappa (¾ day) We visit Marostica, a charming mediaeval town with a hilltop castle and huge town square. Bassano del Grappa is another hidden treasure. Seek out the towns famous export, grappa, and walk across the wooden bridge designed by Palladio. DAY 11 Fiera di Primiero/UK We transfer to Venice airport for our return flight. YOUR HOTEL Hotel Castel Pietra (3-star), 4 nights half board. This charming family-run hotel has a pretty bar, breakfast room, restaurant and a wine tasting bar.
DAY 7 Rapallo We transfer south west to the Italian Riviera and Rapallo, set on the Gulf of Tigullio, where we stay at the Hotel Europa for four nights. DAYS 8 10 Rapallo Enjoy a few days in this charming town, once a magnet for writers and artists, drawn by the extraordinary beauty of the bay. We include a boat trip to charming Portofino, a former fishing village that is now an attractive and popular resort. The following optional excursions will be available: Cinque Terre (full day) A chance to see the Cinque Terre, five pretty villages perched high on the cliffs above tiny inlets. Despite being a popular holiday destination, these former fishing villages have remained remarkably unspoilt. Portovenere (¾ day) Sitting on the Gulf of Spezia, the tiny village of Portovenere is one of the most romantic on this stretch of coastline. Nearby is Byrons Grotto, where the poet is said to have come to find inspiration. DAY 11 Rapallo/UK We transfer to Pisa airport to join the homeward flight. YOUR HOTEL Hotel Europa (4-star), 4 nights half board. Located in the heart of Rapallo, this elegant hotel has a restaurant, bar, garden bar and small fitness centre.

Scheduled flights by British Airways between London Gatwick and Verona; departing at 0835h and arriving back at 1340h. Dolomites extension arrives back from Venice at 1240h. YOUR HOTEL Hotel Meandro (3-star), 6 nights (1 night half board, 5 nights bed and breakfast). This charming hotel is a favourite amongst regular Page & Moy guests and we are always made to feel very welcome. The Hotel Meandro is run by three sisters who delight in making your holiday special. The recent renovations have given the hotel a most impressive reception and panoramic restaurant, from where you can enjoy magnificent views over the lake. Other facilities include a covered swimming pool, sauna, sun terrace and garden. The comfortable guest rooms all have balconies facing the lake, satellite TV, telephone, minibar, safe, air-conditioning and hairdrier. The centre is within walking distance.
