Our March departure varies slightly from the main itinerary and includes an extra night in the Winelands. Instead of returning to Cape Town at the end of our sightseeing on Day 4, we spend two nights in the Devon Valley at the 4-star Protea Hotel. We have an early start the following morning as we join a harvesting team for grape picking at one of the nearby farms, before a well deserved breakfast back at the hotel. Then, its on to the Fairview Wine Estate for a cheese and wine tasting session. There'll be free time to relax at the hotel this afternoon before an included special dinner with wine. The holiday then follows the main itinerary from Day 5 onwards. Single rooms £210. Holiday Number: ELMCTW YOUR HOTELS CAPE TOWN Protea Hotel President (4-star), 3 nights bed and breakfast. This lovely hotel is located in Bantry Bay, ten minutes from the waterfront and offers a bar, terrace and restaurant as well as a swimming pool. All guest rooms have air-conditioning, satellite TV, hairdrier, telephone and safe. KNYSNA Protea Hotel Knysna Quays (4-star), 3 nights bed and breakfast. Located on the banks of the famous Knysna Lagoon, this modern hotel is part of the vibrant Knysna Quays waterfront, with its sections of restaurants, bars and boutiques. The hotel boasts a restaurant and bar as well as a swimming pool and sun terrace; while all guest rooms offer views of the lagoon, TV, telephone and air-conditioning. With sweeping views of Aloga Bay and situated on the beach front, this hotel is both sophisticated and luxurious, offering two bars and close-by restaurants and amenities. Our October departure varies slightly from the main itinerary and includes an extra night in Hermanus. On Day 5 after leaving Cape Town we reach Hermanus and check in to the Windsor Hotel for one night with breakfast included. The rest of the day is free to relax in this fashionable summer resort. We have an early start the following morning for our whale watching cruise at this time of year the southern right whales migrate to the coast off Walker Bay to calve. We return to the hotel for breakfast before departing for Knysna. The holiday then follows the main itinerary as detailed above. Single rooms £210. Holiday Number: ELMCTH
