Grand Canyon Bryce Canyon
soaring pinnacles, stark promontories and, far below, the Colorado River, stretching out into the distance. This vast chasm is over one mile deep and an average of nine miles wide. The oldest sedimentary layers at the bottom of the canyon date back over two billion years. Contemplate the scene from the rim or take an exhilarating optional helicopter ride for an eagle's eye view. DAY 7 Sedona Our included excursion takes us to Oak Creek Canyon and the historic town of Sedona with its eclectic mix of shops and restaurants. It's a lovely place to browse, or alternatively join an optional Jeep ride, a thrilling experience as we go off-road and over the red rocks of the canyon. After lunch we visit the Red Rock State Park for a walk along the Smoke Trail with stunning views of Cathedral Rock. This evening you can join our optional stargazing tour. Enjoy dinner at one of Sedona's downtown restaurants followed by an evening of stargazing under the brilliant night sky. Professional astronomers will help you identify the different constellations through Dobsonian telescopes it's a lovely way to end your holiday. DAYS 8 & 9 Flagstaff/UK We transfer to Phoenix airport for the return flight, arriving back in the UK on Day 9. YOUR HOTELS LAS VEGAS Stratosphere Hotel (3-star), 1 night. Situated at the top of the Strip, the Stratosphere is surrounded by enormous themed hotels, casinos, shops, restaurants and all the action anyone could want. Take a trip to the top of the hotel's 1,149-foot-high tower for magnificent views over the city. KANAB Shilo Inn, (2-star), 3 nights. The Shilo Inn is well placed for exploring the surrounding area. There is a swimming pool and a selection of restaurants nearby. Rooms have TV, coffee maker, hairdrier and telephone. FLAGSTAFF La Quinta Inn & Suites (4-star), 3 nights. La Quinta Inn has a lovely courtyard, complete with gazebo and large hot tub plus a pool. Guest rooms offer coffeemaker and hairdrier.

Ranch Add-on 4 nights from £329
On Day 8, transfer from Flagstaff to Tuscon and the White Stallion Ranch for four nights on a full board basis. All activities at the ranch are included during your stay. Follow the many hiking trails, try your hand at horse riding and play tennis, basketball, volleyball, table tennis and shuffleboard. If you fancy something a little more relaxing, there's a library, heated pool and indoor hot tub. There's even a zoo with deer, miniature horses, llamas, potbellied pigs and pygmy goats.
