Aqaba or the Dead Sea 3 nights from £199
Why not make the most of your trip to Jordan with one of our two relaxing extensions? Aqaba This will be Day 6 of your main tour. You will leave Wadi Rum and travel to Aqaba where you will have the rest of the day free before dinner and overnight stay at the Aqaba Intercontinental Resort, which sits next to its own private beach. Famed for its preserved coral reefs this port on the Red Sea is vibrant and charming. Fill your next two days seeing the sights and exploring the Red Sea region, visit the 16th-century Mameluk Fort, square in shape and flanked by semicircular towers, it is marked with various inscriptions marking the latter period of the Islamic dynasty, dive or snorkel on the miraculous coral reefs and come face to face with a myriad of marine life. After breakfast on the final day we transfer to Aqaba airport for our connecting flight to London via Amman. Accommodation is on a half board basis. for whom these breathtaking landscapes are home. For those guests not adding an extension to their holiday we travel back to Amman, after enjoying a farewell barbecue dinner in Wadi Rum. We will stay overnight at the 4-star Amman International Hotel or similar. DAY 7 Amman/UK Fly back to the UK today. YOUR HOTELS AMMAN Amman International Hotel (4-star), 4 nights half board. This excellent hotel has a cosy Cigar Bar, good food in the Oasis Terrace, an outdoor swimming pool and stunning views over Amman. PETRA Crowne Plaza Resort (4-star), 2 nights half board. Situated on a hillside, this hotel has spectacular views, especially from the rooftop swimming pool. The hotel also has four restaurants and comfortable rooms with minibar and air-conditioning.

Deposit £150 per person Prices are based on the shared occupancy of twin or double rooms with private facilities. Scheduled flights by Royal Jordanian between London Heathrow and Amman; departing at 1705h and arriving back at 1545h.

Dead Sea This will be Day 6 of your main tour. We leave Wadi Rum and travel to the 5-star Hotel Dead Sea Movenpick for a three-night stay on a bed and breakfast basis. Boasting deluxe rooms with airconditioning, balcony and cable TV, you can also relax and enjoy its several pools and spas before dinner. Then enjoy two splendid full days on the shores of the Dead Sea, a year-round suntrap due to its location more than 1,300 feet below sea level. Experience weightlessness as you float on the surface of the water, or indulge yourself with a variety of treatments in the Spa centre at the hotel (at a supplement). We transfer by coach to Amman airport for our flight home. Single rooms £75.
