Choosing a Scandinavian High Arctic expedition
Following in the footsteps of the great Arctic explorers, well see the harshness of a land carved by glaciers and peppered with the most delicate wildflowers. And we sail deep into the High Arctic, coming within 10 degrees latitude of the North Pole!

Well sail as far north as 80 degrees, aiming to circumnavigate the major islands of the Svalbard archipelago, with wonderful wildlife watching especially the vast seabird rookeries, as well as polar bears and walrus.

With more time, well explore the Svalbard archipelago, then cross to visit East Greenlands Inuit people and ancient Thule site, always on the lookout for polar bears, walrus and whales, to finish in the land of fire, Iceland.
