Our expedition ships the Peregrine Voyager and the Peregrine Mariner enable us to unlock a miraculous, forbidden world where animals have no fear of man; where the din of a hundred thousand penguins drowns conversation; where polar bears can be found hunting hundreds of miles from land; and where whales show as much curiosity in the behaviour of humans as we do in theirs. Alone, we cannot survive in these icy extremes, but our state-of-the-art expedition ships take us deep into the polar regions, to the ends of the earth in comfort and safety. Antarctica and the High Arctic are immense wilderness areas where we are at the mercy of the wind, the ocean and the ice conditions that can change rapidly and dramatically. Our expedition staff and crew have hundreds of polar voyages between them. Their expertise, combined with the exceptional manoeuvrability, stability and comfort of our ships, means we can be as flexible as necessary to adjust to changing conditions, as well as passenger interests. It also means we can access remote wildlife colonies and explore isolated bays and islands to a degree experienced by very few travellers. With our ships as floating bases, you choose the level of adventure that suits you: explore exquisite, ice-filled bays by Zodiac inflatable boat, commune with the wildlife or hike ashore. We also offer adventure options including sea kayaking and camping a night ashore. And at the end of a full days adventures, you can relax in the comfort of the ships lounge and enjoy a hearty dinner.
