CAMPING Camping ashore on the Antarctic ice is an unforgettable experience. We provide all the gear and you bring along a sense of adventure. It's an optional activity on many of our voyages in Antarctica, and is included in the voyage fare. MEETING THE LOCALS We have the chance to visit some of the most remote communities on earth, including indigenous people who manage to combine a traditional existence with the trappings of the modern world. Shared experiences are among the highlights of any voyage. SOAk IT ALL IN Perhaps you'd like to enjoy one of our voyages simply for the experience of it all. Find a beautiful spot and let it all soak in! PHOTOGRAPHy The polar regions offer exceptional rewards for all photographers, from dedicated professionals to enthusiastic amateurs. If you have a passion for wilderness and wildlife photography, join us on one of our floating photography symposia' on the ship. In a comprehensive series of workshops, presentations and excursions we'll cover a wide range of topics affecting both film and digital photography. We'll have a stellar line-up of professional photographers on board to host our seminars and shore excursions. All our voyages have a strong photographic orientation, but on these trips photography enthusiasts will frequently break away from the main group to maximise their creativity and time. We also have a multi-media centre on each ship, where passengers can download their digital images and burn CDs. There is no extra cost to participate in the symposia, however photographic materials (if used) will be charged separately. Please advise your interest at time of booking.
