Australian Highlights 19 Days
Uncover all the highlights of Australia from Sydney and Kakadu to the Red Centre and the Great Barrier Reef
After a taking in the sights of sparkling Sydney, the natural wonders of the Northern Territory beckon. The stunning scenery and diverse landscapes of Katherine Gorge and Kakadu are absolutely breathtaking. At Nitmiluk National Park we enjoy canoeing on the river, and in Kakadu we climb to the top of waterfalls to survey the stunning surroundings. A sunrise cruise on the Yellow Water Wetlands gives us the chance to spot abundant bird life as well as enormous saltwater crocodiles lurking in the water around us. Further south, we witness one of the worlds most iconic sights Uluru (Ayers Rock) rising from the vast, flat desert. We take the circuit walk around the base of this almighty monolith. Across the South Australian border, we meet traditional Aboriginal landowners who show us their fascinating lifestyle and famous cave paintings. The Great Barrier Reef is our final destination. After the stark desert landscapes, the colour and vibrancy of the reef provides a real contrast. We have plenty of time to swim, snorkel and relax in this idyllic corner of Australia.

Great Barrier Reef Extension 4 Days
Venture beneath the waters surface and explore one of the wonders of the natural world
The Great Barrier Reef is an amazing underwater wonderland that is literally teeming with marine life. About two million years old, the reef covers 2000 kilometres from the south of Papua New Guinea to just below the Tropic of Capricorn. The colours of the coral are dazzling and are matched only by the vivid hues of the 1500 species of tropical fish that make their home here. This trip extension takes us exploring in this World Heritage site. On our eco-cruise to the remote outer reef we snorkel, swim, relax and discover what it is about the Great Barrier Reef that makes it so special.
