Coast to Coast 8 Days
Follow in the footsteps of champions on this world famous athletic course
The Coast to Coast is an annual athletic event held in New Zealands South Island. Competitors run, cycle and kayak on a 243-kilometre course from Kumara Beach on the Tasman Sea to Sumner Beach on the Pacific Ocean. On this wonderful trip we follow the same course but spread our adventure over seven days so that we can trek instead of run! We spend two days cycling through beautifully scenic countryside and a memorable experience is our two-day kayaking excursion on the Waimakiri River through Waimakiri Gorge. Described as the Grand Canyon of New Zealand, it is an awesome place to explore. This is active New Zealand at its best!
