Highlights of Egypt & Kenya 18 Days
This epic journey combines the mystical wonder of Egypt with the wildlife spectacle of Kenya. In Cairo, our guide unravels the complexity of the dynastic periods as we visit Memphis and its necropolis, Sakkara. We also explore the Egyptian Museum, pyramids and Sphinx before heading to Luxor where we marvel over Karnak Temple, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Valley of the Kings. On a cruise to Aswan we visit the Edfu and Komombo Temples and the charming Temple of Isis. Back in Cairo, we discover the streets of the medieval city before flying to Nairobi. Kenya, with its exceptional national parks teeming with a diversity of wildlife, is undoubtedly one of the worlds top nature destinations. Our weeklong wildlife safari takes in the arid scrublands and endemic species of Samburu, the alkaline lake and its flock of flamingos in Lake Nakuru National Park and finally the world-renowned Masai Mara with its stunning open grasslands and vast herds!
