Brazil in Depth 12 Days
The sheer size and diversity of Brazil is astounding. After exploring lively Rio de Janeiro with its magnificent setting, famous beaches and colourful nightlife, we travel to Iguazu Falls and explore this stunning natural phenomenon. In the heart of Brazil we visit the vast wetland reserve of the Pantanal home to a marvellous assortment of wildlife including ibis, macaw, caiman alligator and capybara. The city of Manaus, on the banks of the Amazon River, lies more than 1500 kilometres inland and is our jumping-off point for visiting the Amazon jungle. From our jungle lodge we explore the lush rainforest and the mighty Amazon River itself. Finally we fly to Salvador and spend the last days of our Brazilian adventure discovering this magnificent colonial city and soaking up the warm tropical sun on golden Atlantic beaches.
