We dont believe that five star is the best way to understand a country, but we do believe that travelling and sleeping in comfort will enable you to get the most out of your holiday. sEEING THE sIGHTs We know that you dont want too much free time or wasted opportunity for exploring, so we design our itineraries to see as much as we can. We include all the icons as well as many lesser-known highlights. Most of the trip expenses are covered by the trip price including many activities, local tours and entrance fees. A pLACE To sTAY Theres so much to see and do during the day, so a great nights sleep is essential! We do our best to seek out accommodation with authenticity, character, local hosts and a central location.

Hotels In gateway cities, Peregrine uses quality hotels they are not extravagant, but they have private bathrooms, airconditioning in hot regions, are well appointed and centrally located. In towns we often seek out family run establishments with local character and charm. Trek lodges and camping Whilst out on the trail well either use good quality lodges, or well provide good quality camping equipment: large two person tents, thick insulated sleeping mats as well as other necessary gear. safari lodges and camping On some safaris well stay in quality lodges which are often characteristically African in style. On other trips we stay in permanent tented camps which feature large walk-in tents with private ensuite facilities. On mobile camping safaris we use comfortable four person tents (for two people) with foam matresses. Homestays When we explore rural and remote areas, we often stay as guests of local people in simple huts for a night or two. Spending the night amongst these communities means that we share time with the villagers, enjoying mutual understanding, rather than just passing by. We believe that its not really about star rating unless youre talking about the hotel with a thousand stars.
