This safari combines the breathtaking scenery of western Uganda with the warmth of the local people and amazing wildlife experiences. Whilst trekking to visit the rare and highly endangered mountain gorillas of Bwindi is undoubtedly the absolute highlight of our adventure, there is much else to see and do in Uganda. Queen Elizabeth National Park boasts an astonishing variety of animals, with almost 100 mammal and over 600 bird species. An afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel is a great way to see more of this exceptional park. We also head out on foot in search of chimpanzees and a number of other exotic monkey species in Kibale National Park. Add a visit to gorgeous Lake Mburo and we have a truly action-packed journey through Uganda!
