After exploring the bustling city of Lima and the colourful former-capital of Cusco, we collect our bikes and take an easy two-day cycle into the spectacular Sacred Valley. We stop off along the way when we spy crumbling Inca ruins along the roadside. Trekking the Inca Trail is a highlight of our journey in Peru  the first glimpse of the lost city of Machu Picchu is spellbinding. After all that vigorous activity, we fly to Ecuador and set sail on the Peregrine Endeavour on our Galapagos voyage.
