after completing his degree in European History, saxon set off for Europe in 1993 with a one-way ticket and a spirit of adventure. over the next few years, he criss-crossed the continent by rail, by Combi van and even hitchhiking. He worked as dJ in denmark, picked grapes along the Rhine and worked at a Munich hotel before becoming a tour leader. a continent of unparalleled gastronomic, photographic and cultural delights, the diversity, history, language and landscapes of Europe have fascinated saxon for more than a decade.
If you are keen to discover a new destination, Italys untouched Abruzzo region or the villages, castles and vineyards of Moravia in the Czech republic are fantastic places to explore. Perhaps you wish to revisit some old favourites like Tuscany or Provence and experience them in a new way theyre all here. Our program this year criss-crosses Europe, from Granada to Goreme, and Chamonix to Cesky krumlov. Our all time favourite trips make a welcome return, and weve added some great new itineraries for 2008 and beyond. If youre looking for an active holiday, were sure to have just the thing. How about summiting Slovenian peaks, camping with Turkish Bedouins or breaking bread with Corsican shepherds?
