Flavours of the Dordogne 8 Days
West of the Central Massif lies Perigord, a region of lush valleys dotted with castles and quaint villages. The Dordogne and Vézère rivers wind through this tranquil landscape irrigating beautiful vineyards and old forests that have produced fine wines and black truffles for centuries. For those interested in archaeology, it is one of Europes most fascinating regions, having been continuously inhabited by humans for tens of thousands of years. The lovely riverside villages of La roque Gageac, St Leon sur Vézère and Domme are a highlight, with wonderful cobblestoned laneways, imposing castles and dramatic views. Perigord is also known for its fine food and wine; local dishes such as succulent duck, wild boar and fois gras are specialities of the region. Our hotels on this week of exploration have been specially chosen for their character and friendly ambiance and make a perfect base for our week of discoveries.
An enticing mixture of charming villages, meandering rivers, fascinating prehistoric sites and sumptuous cuisine

Secrets of Provence 8 Days
This cycling journey through the heart of Provence allows us to experience la belle vie that wonderful French pace of life
A region loved for its natural beauty, towns filled with history, art, gastronomy, wine and traditions bienvenue en Provence! We leave the main roads behind and discover olive groves, vineyards and awe-inspiring landscapes on this scenic cycling adventure. We peddle our way through uzès, a town of lofty towers and narrow streets, and picnic at the base of the 1st-century roman Pont du Gard. In the Alpilles we explore Saint-remy and LesBaux-de-Provence, spectacularly set atop a rocky outcrop and crowned with a ruined castle. We have a base in Arles and explore its Gallo-roman treasures and sample the ambiance that attracted Van Gogh and Gauguin to its cobblestones and cafes. Along the banks of the rhône river, we sample some of the regions famous wine and then head all the way to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer on the Mediterranean coast, for its feast of folklore and its relaxing seaside ambience.
