Jordan is a fascinating country, with spectacular Palmyracities, Crusader castles and a sophisticated, old Damascus cosmopolitan capital Amman. Away from the more popular areas, we discover the home of the Bedouin as we explore landscapes of stark and ordan dramatic beauty, including rocky escarpments, man high fertile plateaus and spectacular desert scenery. Time is spent in the romantic desert environs of ak Wadi Rum where we explore by camel and foot and stay overnight in a Bedouin camp. From here, we head on to visit some of the major Jordanian sights, including Shobak Castle, Jerash, and the Dead Sea. Of course, no trip to Jordan is complete without a full day exploring the amazing city of Petra. This is a truly rewarding adventure encompassing architectural wonders and cultural experiences. h

This adventure showcases the key sights of this fabulous desert country
This is the Arabia you dreamed about! Explore the historic city of Muscat and drive along the coast to the busy fishing village of Seeb. Inland are the splendid forts of Nakhal, Rustaq and Al Hazm all framed by the spectacular Jebel Akhdar mountains. By 4WD vehicle, we travel along the dramatic coastline to Tiwi and Sur and continue to the beautiful oasis at Wadi Bani Khaled. Nearby we explore the extensive Wahiba Sands and sleep at a rustic desert camp a fantastic experience. We visit the charming oasis, Lisq, and the village of Mudaibi before browsing the fabulous souk in the ancient city of Nizwa. We meet the local people, view their fascinating crafts and delicate woodwork, and unwind on the cool heights of the Mountain of the Sun before heading back to the wonderful maze of Muscat.

Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 Day 5 Day 6 Day 7 (Sat) Arrive in Muscat and transfer to hotel. Morning tour to Sultan Qaboos Mosque, the old harbour, sh markets and bazaar. Full-day tour to the shing village at Seeb and the forts at Nakhal and Al Hazm. 4WD to Wadi Bani Khaled and Wahiba Sands. Overnight desert camp. Continue 4WD safari to Lisq oasis, Mudaibi, Nizwa fort and souq. Visit Bahla and Jabrin fort, Shams mountain and Misfah village. Drive back to Muscat in the evening. Tour ends in Muscat after breakfast (Fri).
