Discover East Africas primates in their natural habitats and help to conserve their species
This is a primate experience like no other. We take two gorilla treks and a trek with the rare golden monkeys of Rwanda. In addition, we also join national park rangers for a full day chimpanzee habituation experience. On this very special day, we join the rangers as they spend time with the chimpanzees and gradually accustom the chimps to the presence of humans. This is an incredible opportunity and an Zanzibar encounter that will certainly be cherished forever. Researchers also spend time with us to explain tanzania the threats to the primate populations of Africa and the steps being taken to preserve the various species. Participation on the tour will directly contribute to these very valuable and incredibly important ongoing tasks.

day 1 day 2 day 3 day 4 day 5 day 6 day 7 day 8 (sat) arrive in kigali. stay overnight at Gorillas nest, ruhengeri. Gorilla trek in Parc national des Volcans. optional second gorilla trek or walk to dian fosseys grave. trek with the golden monkeys. travel to Kisoro, uganda. drive to Bwindi. optional afternoon forest and waterfall walk. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable Forest. drive to Queen elizabeth national park. afternoon launch trip on the Kazinga Channel. Visit Jane Goodall institute project. education session. Learn about snare removal programs. Continue on to Kibale. afternoon forest walk (time permitting). Full day habituating a chimpanzee family with national park rangers. visit Jane Goodall institute program at Kibale. drive to Entebbe where tour ends on arrival (Mon).
