Ski and Beach
Enjoy a fantastic and unusual combination of summer skiing in the Andes and relaxation on a beautiful Brazilian beach. Chillán offers arguably the best skiing conditions in Chile with consistently excellent snow, wide open slopes and a friendly, informal atmosphere. Afterwards, travel to Brazil where you can spend a week relaxing on the sands of stylish Buzios, just north of Rio. This holiday is tailored to suit you. How active?
Chillán is made up of some 10,000 hectares of pisted slopes both above and below the tree line. Spread over the slopes of two volcanoes, the resort has consistently good snow with excellent conditions for both skiers and boarders. For the more experienced, there is plenty of accessible off-piste, and for the less experienced, lessons are included in week-long stays. In Buzios you can be as active as you like. There are over 20 bays surrounding the town, each with its own flavour and atmosphere. Choose whether to swim, snorkel, dive, windsurf, sail, kayak or just relax on the beach.

Relax and explore the beaches and bays of beautiful Buzios, north of Rio. · Day 1 Fly to Chile. · Day 2 Morning flight south to Chillán. Soak in hot springs. · Day 3 Ski the slopes spread across two volcanoes. · Day 4 Five hours of small group lessons are included for you today. · Day 5 From the top of the resort (2,700m), look out across the Andes. · Day 6 Full day to ski. For some pampering, book in for a massage in the spa. · Day 7 Try cross-country skiing or heli-skiing for some off-piste adventure. · Day 8 Chillán gives you a real flavour of Chile as well as being a world class resort. · Day 9 Catch the train north to Santiago. · Day 10 Travel to Brazil and your boutique hotel on the coast. · Day 11 Relax on the beach. · Day 12 Try your hand at surfing, snorkelling or sailing. · Day 13 Enjoy fine seafood as the sun sets. · Day 14 Relax on the beach or take a boat ride around the headland. · Day 15 Read by the pool or have a spa treatment. · Day 16 Travel home. · Day 17 Arrive back.
How comfortable?
The pace of this holiday is very relaxed and is therefore ideal for honeymoons and special occasions. Chillán offers an exceptional ski in/ski out five star hotel with its own spa and volcanic hot springs. This is the best ski hotel in Chile. There is also good lower grade accommodation nearby if you prefer. We can also arrange for you to ski more than one resort. In Buzios stay in a beautifully located small, stylish boutique hotel overlooking the sea. This is an independent holiday, but there are Pura guides available in both Chile and Brazil if you need them. This holiday is tailor-made to suit you.
