Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
Experience the unique feeling of arriving at Machu Picchu on foot. The four-day fully guided walk along the Inca Trail takes you away from the crowds, providing you with a more relaxed experience. Explore smaller ruins along the way as you soak in the dramatic Andean scenery. Enjoy each day's activity knowing you will relax in relative comfort at the end of the day. Our expert guides make sure you get the most from your trip. How active?
The Inca Trail involves high altitudes and some steep steps, but the pace is relaxed and bags are portaged. In total you walk around 28 miles over four days at altitudes of up to 4,200m, with time in Cusco to acclimatise gradually. Pura Aventura runs its own Inca Trail departures so that only our clients are walking together. Our extended four-day schedule means that you enjoy quieter walking conditions and campsites. Our groups are small and individuals generally have the same agenda - to enjoy a challenging hike but with time to appreciate the scenery.
