Explore at your own pace with the freedom of your own vehicle. · Day 1 Drive to your hotel in the heart of a quiet village near the coast. · Day 2 Guided walk around a high peak. · Day 3 Walk a beautiful coastal path. · Day 4 Sea kayak across a quiet bay, relax on the beach. · Day 5 Walk through a deep gorge in the heart of the island. · Day 6 Relax and stroll along to a beautiful beach. · Day 7 Walk between villages in the coastal mountains. · Day 8 Visit the old town of Palma and travel home.
How active?
It's up to you how active you decide to be. We think walking is the main attraction and so provide you with walking notes and detailed maps. Walking routes are generally moderate to hard with some short easy walks for more relaxed days. You should like hill walking to best enjoy our recommended routes. Expect the main walks to take around five hours with some steep uphill sections. Other activities include sea kayaking, snorkelling, surfing, windsurfing, mountain biking, relaxing on the beach and visiting old towns. The variety of options allows you to choose your perfect mix of activity and relaxation.
How comfortable?
This is a very comfortable holiday indeed. The six-room boutique hotel in the pedestrian part of an old village offers gorgeous suites, which we assume you will want to stay in (although you can downgrade if you wish). Meals other than breakfast are not included as there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of your hotel. Your guide will meet you on day one to talk through your holiday and settle you in. They are then available to guide you for a full day, allowing you to gain a better understanding of the area and give you any further information you need to make the most of your stay.
