Begin by immersing yourself in the lively city of Seville, with its unique mix of Moorish, Christian and Jewish cultures. Walk in the rolling Aracena hills through chestnut forests and olive groves dotted with sleepy whitewashed villages. Complete your holiday with time on the beautiful coast near Cadiz. How active? The main attraction here is walking but the exact level of exertion is up to you. The Aracena Hills offer some fairly challenging hikes although there are also shorter walks if you prefer. We provide you with maps and walking notes so you can choose the routes that appeal the most. From your base near the coast, you can walk the coastline as well as the nearby Grazalema National Park. Hiking aside, you will no doubt want to explore Seville, Jerez and Cadiz as well as towns such as Vejer and Arcos de la Frontera - all of which is best done on foot. po Pura Aventura Holiday Location How comfortable? In Seville you stay in a decent three or four star hotel in the Barrio Santa Cruz area within easy walking distance of the cathedral and Alcazar. In Aracena, you stay in a rural style hotel near the town, with lovely gardens and a pool. On the coast, you have a tiny B&B on the edge of Alcornocales National Park. The hilltop house looks over the sea and you can even see Africa on a clear day. We will provide you with information, tips, walking notes and maps.
