Aracena Inn to Inn Walk
Walk virtually forgotten paths from village to village through the beautiful Aracena Hills near Seville. Enjoy warm sunshine and views across the rolling hills, valleys and olive groves. Stay in small inns and hotels enjoying some of the freshest and most delicious food in Spain. Soak up the local history, admire the stunning views and enjoy walking the diverse terrain using our maps and walking notes. How active?
The Aracena Hills provide deceptively challenging walking terrain. Daily distances vary from 15-22km, which translates as approximately five to seven hours' walking a day. You will tend to have height gain and loss of about 600m per day so there are some long uphill stretches. Overall the conditions underfoot are very good. This holiday is for those who enjoy hill walking and a good challenge. We recommend avoiding the months of July and August as the temperatures can get very high. Whilst we provide up to date walking notes, you should also be comfortable with the idea of navigating using our detailed maps.

Not quite right?
You might like to extend this holiday with a few days in Seville. In northern Spain our Picos Inn to Inn (p76) is another independent walk through little known mountains. Staying in the south, you might like to look at our more flexible Andalucía Self Drive holiday (p84).
WhY Pura
?
With remote inn to inn walks, it is easy to compromise the quality of the route in trying to find somewhere for you to sleep. This is not the case here - walks are enjoyable and challenging, and our hotels are comfortable and welcoming. Your guides are always available should you need them.
