Pyrenees Family Ski Week
The beautiful Benasque area of the Pyrenees is the perfect location for families looking to learn or improve their skiing in a crowd-free, unpretentious resort. This holiday is designed to be relaxing and fun for all the family. Your guide is always on hand to provide you with anything from airport transfers to ski lessons. Enjoy hearty regional cuisine and sleep soundly in your comfortable hotel in the heart of a peaceful village. How active?
The range of pistes and the uncrowded slopes and lifts mean that you can do as much or little as you like. The holiday is suitable for anyone from complete beginners to experts, but ideally children should be aged at least three. Your guide will stream groups into two or three ability levels, with each level receiving two hours of lessons per day. Between times, smaller groups tend to head off to explore together. The resort of Cerler has 71km of runs, served by 18 mostly new lifts. There are lots of lovely varied blues and reds and some quite decent green runs.

Pura Aventura Holiday Location
Perfect for families looking for a skiing holiday with a difference. A relaxed and unpretentious resort with none of the usual crowded `scene'. Everything is organised to leave you free to relax and enjoy the skiing. A dedicated guide/ instructor is on hand to look after you throughout your holiday, on and off the slopes. · Day 1 Travel to the Pyrenees and settle into your hotel. · Day 2 Pick up your ski gear and start exploring the resort of Cerler. · Day 3 The resort is known as the 'hidden valley' as it is refreshingly uncrowded. · Day 4 For young children there is a supervised `snow garden' where they can play. · Day 5 In case of bad weather there are other activities nearby: your guide is on hand to help. · Day 6 Full day to ski with the usual lessons included. · Day 7 Enjoy your last day on the slopes. · Day 8 Travel back to the airport.
How comfortable?
Your accommodation is a small, family-run hotel at the foot of the slopes. The building itself is a converted farmhouse in the heart of the old village of Cerler, in which you will find comfortable, en suite rooms. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the piste, so it is up to you how long you spend on the slopes each day. Ski gear is left in the lockers at the slopes so there is no need to carry equipment. Your guide/ instructor accompanies you throughout and looks after every aspect of your holiday.
