Introductory Weekends & Skills Beginners Derbyshire
Youlgreave, near Bakewell, is our base in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Our routes have been tailor made to provide a variety of riding, including former railway lines, which are now the gently undulating cycle routes of the Tissington and the High Peak trails. We weave our way around the bridleways and back lanes of Milldale passing the stately home of Chatsworth House and in the evening relax in a cracking local inn renowned for its tasty food.

With direct train journeys from London just over 3 hours long, Penrith is the perfect setting for this ever popular weekend. Our routes around Ulswater and Greystoke Castle are on a combination of bridleways and forest tracks and led by our very experienced local guides. The views are stunning, as you ride along the open fells in peace and tranquillity.

Aimed at improving existing skills, this weekend can help you get the most out of mountain biking with our experienced and patient Skedaddle guides. Selected routes in and around the Keswick area have been chosen so that you are able to experience every type of riding challenge. You also have the chance to advance your bike know-how and more advanced field mechanics, during the weekend.
