omeone very important once likened Morocco to a desert palm; "rooted in Africa, watered by Islam and rustled by the winds of Europe". We like this analogy, as these influences make Morocco the varied and enticing wonderland which it very clearly is. Perhaps they should have gone further and mentioned the extraordinary and unique diversity of beautiful landscapes, the cuisine, and, arguably the icing on the cake, the warmth and hospitality of its inhabitants.

So, what are you waiting for? At little over (and sometimes a little under when the north wind bloweth) three hours from the UK, few can argue that Morocco offers the closest culture shock to the UK.
