Sicily - Ciclo Sicilia
9 DAYS, GRADE 2-3 Balancing precariously on the toe of Italy's stiletto heeled boot, Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean and like Sardinia is abundant in natural beauty, history and culture. This tour is slightly gentler than most of our Classic Road holidays and whilst not without the occasional challenge it makes an ideal introductory tour for anyone keen to experience road cycling for the first time.
Sardinia - Coastal Explorer, Guided or Self Guided
8 DAYS, GRADE 2-3 Famed as Italy's most exotic island and blessed with a fantastic network of well-surfaced roads, you are assured of great cycling. The island has a stunning coastline and a rugged mountain interior and you can choose between two very different tours to experience the best of both. Coastal Explorer the more gentle of the two, starts in Alghero, the beautiful Catalan-influenced city, takes in almost the entire western coastline and ends in Cagliari, the bustling island capital on the southern coast.
Sardinian Mountains
9 DAYS, GRADE 4 A more challenging tour of 100 kms plus days with plenty of climbing. Whilst the mountains in Sardinia do not compare in stature with those on the mainland, many of them can punch above their weight and will keep even the most seasoned climbers happy.
