Caves & Canals
Experience the delights of Old France in this leisurely journey along two of the regions most picturesque and romantic waterways. You will spend the first part of the week enjoying rolling landscapes, sleepy villages and medieval half timbered homes as you follow the Canal de Bourgognes. Beyond here you pick up the route of Canal du Nvernais, taking time to admire the historic beauty of Auxerre before pressing onwards to Accolay, Clamency and ultimately Avallon where you will spend your final evening before being transferred back to Montbard. This is a gentle route, that is mostly flat and suitable for families with younger children.
Vintage Burgundy
Historic castles, miles of straight Roman roads and magnificent churches give constant reminders of Burgundys heritage. Youll be pleasantly surprised by the beauty of its traditional architecture. This is a great route that starts and finishes in Dijon, designed for those who want to take their time and enjoy the great food and of course the fine wines of Beaune and Maconnais. With the odd hill to climb this an ideal cycling holiday for families with older children.

A lovely route designed for those who want to take their time to enjoy the rich history, food and fine wines. There are a few large hills to climb although it is suitable for families with older children. During the cycling trip you will visit great abbeys, elegant châteaux, medieval half-timbered villages and fortified towns. The vineyards of Chablis and Auxerrois are visited, with time set aside for a spot of wine tasting.
