Each day our routes take you through the typical Tuscan landscape of vineyards and olive groves, with plenty of time to relax and absorb the local atmosphere. Your holiday starts with two nights in Lucca before cycling onto Vinci where you spend three nights in an agriturismo. From here you undertake a series of circular rides before heading back to Lucca for your final two nights. Your first day of cycling see you heading to Pisa via the thermal city of San Giuliano Terme, with the first half of the ride ending at the leaning tower in Pisa. Photos dutifully taken, the afternoon is spent enjoying beautiful views to the Mediterranean Sea, during a ride that takes in Borgo Gianotti before returning to the city walls of Lucca. After two nights in Lucca today sees you cycle to Vinci where you spend the next three nights in the quiet surroundings of a rural Agriturismo famous for their authentic locally grown food and wine. The good news is your luggage will have been transferred for you. From Vinci, weve two lovely rides based from here, through a beautiful landscape that includes such delights as Cerreto Guid, San Baronto and Lamporecchio and the curving road of Strada del Vino di Chianti. A different route takes us back to Lucca via Quattro Mura and Tofori and the final days cycle will round of your tour in style as we enjoy our day in Val Freddana, and Massaciuccioli before finding your way back through S.Alessio to Lucca. Surrounded by a huge city wall Lucca is a charming old town with its narrow streets, great restaurants and bars, and typically friendly Italian atmosphere&.enjoy!!
