ensational cycling through Norways most dramatic National Parks and fjords, a land of incredible views and fresh clean air that you can almost taste! Our starting point and gateway to this stunning area is Bergen. A place of quaint streets with wooden houses, which rise up from its bustling waterfront. From here we depart on a beautiful train journey in and out of tunnels, beside peaceful fjords, rushing rivers and placid lakes until we reach Voss, where our cycling begins.

Over the next six days we pedal through some incredible scenery. Our first treat is the thrilling descent of the Stalheim Pass with its 13 hairpin bends. In complete contrast following this are the cruise along the narrow Nærøy fjord beneath peaks soaring 1,800 metres to the skies above, the crossing of the Sogne fjord (the worlds longest and deepest) and our visit to the tiny Stave Church at Urnes (built in 1150 AD), now World Heritage listed. Our cycling continues into the Jotunheimen National Park, which encompasses Norways 27 highest peaks and offers an exhilarating 1,400 metre descent from northern Europes highest pass Sogne Fjell. When you thought it could get no better we visit the incredible Geiranger fjord, considered the most spectacular with its many graceful waterfalls, before embarking on the 1,000 metre descent of the impressive Geiranger Pass.
Finally, we reach the Art Nouveau splendour of the port of Ålesund where we stay for the evening prior to flight home the next day. For those looking to extend their time in Norway, we are able to arrange an extension to the trip, which includes one night on board one of the luxuriously appointed coastal cruise ships, Hurtigruten, for the beautiful voyage back to Bergen and accommodation in Bergen following its arrival.
