UK Cycling Breaks Cornish Way Cornwall, with its dramatic landscapes, historic towns and fishing villages mixed with friendly pubs and legend, makes a superb location for cycling. The Cornish Way certainly shows off Cornwall at its best as it snakes from Bude to Lands End over its 127 mile route. On the way well visit St. Austell and Truro and such delights as the picturesque fishing villages of Mevagissey and Mousehole. Being Cornwall, it is a route of contrasting landscapes, from the quiet countryside and small villages of the north to the remote moorland and sweeping vistas around Bodmin, nicknamed the roof of Cornwall. The superb Eden Project near St. Austell is certainly on our itinerary and naturally reached by bike. Celtic Trail In the beautiful South West corner of Wales, the Celtic Trail boasts some of the most stunning coastline in the UK. Our journey follows towpaths, disused railways and quiet country roads. Starting in the bustling market town of Carmarthen We cycle through a wonderful combination of pretty coastal villages, open countryside, golden sandy beaches and craggy coastline through Pembrokeshire, Tenby and Carmarthen Bay ending after crossing the Preseli Hills back into Carmarthen. The area is bursting with historical interest including the birthplace of the great Welsh poet Dylan Thomas and St. Davids, the smallest city in the UK.
