Nestled amongst pine trees, cypresses, olive and orange groves, the charming shing village of Mlini basks in the warmth of the Mediterranean sun. Typically Dalmatian, this stone house is built on a secluded hillside location, offering fantastic views of the sea and a mountainous backdrop.The friendly English owner has restored the property, maintaining its character and authenticity. Small stone houses are a rarity and this property has an ideal location for a traditional Croatian experience. Mlini is a quiet place, ideal for couples.There is a supermarket and restaurants in the nearby resort. The interior is modern, comfortable and spacious, spanning three oors, with breathtaking views from the balconies. A secluded patio awaits you on the ground oor adding to the warm and romantic atmosphere - the perfect romantic hideaway.
At Lovistes little bay, on the edge of the village, stands the small Pension Gradina, a handful of rooms and apartments run by Robert and his young family. We have selected the White apartments for our guests.Their top-oor location, accessed by external staircases, ensures that the views over the bay to Hvar are unimpeded. The spacious main living area under a sloping ceiling has a sofa bed in addition to a well-equipped kitchen area. The front, more shady, balcony faces north, whilst the sun can be soaked up on the west-facing side balcony or the communal sun terrace below. Robert is a caring host who also runs a restaurant for his guests on the ground oor.There is a small choice of restaurants, bars and cafés around the bay, but with such an idyllic way to round off the day on your doorstep, we feel that you will return to this spot evening after evening.
