Built in 1480 and lying in ruins until two years ago, La Tour de Micalona is a unique place to spend your holidays. All the rooms are cosy and circular in shape with the original stone work built into the design of the rooms.The roof terrace has 360-degree views across the Valinco Gulf, with the addition of a refreshing shower to cool off from the glare of the sun.The tower has four levels: the ground and rst oor have ground level entry, and the second and third are reached by an external stairway.The beaches of the Valinco Gulf are within a one kilometre drive from the tower, and the seasonal shops and restaurants of Abbartello are ve minutes away, with a more extensive selection of attractions and amenities 20 minutes drive away in Propriano. A private and beautifully converted olive press near one of Corsicas prettiest villages.

This restored mill has a lovely garden and a beautifully designed swimming pool.The full glory of the natural stonework is on show, with exposed walls inside and out. A kitchen-breakfast area has been integrated into the former olive press, and an open plan living area leads to a new, but traditionally-styled extension. A ten minute drive brings you to the village of Lama, with its splendid views of sea and mountains and several restaurants. A short track leads from Le Pont Génois to the road linking Ponte Leccia to the Balagne. 15 kilometres away is the unspoilt beach of Ostriconi. Calvi and St Florent can easily be reached for a day trip in this direction, whilst in the other is the heart of the Corsican mountain range: Asco, the Castagniccia and Corte. PROPERTY DETAILS
