La Casa Grande hugs the hillside like a beacon to the spirit of Al Andaluz, offering up its delights for your pleasure - be it reclining on silk cushions in its minaret-like tower, sipping mint tea and admiring the marvellous views or maybe reposing on the Alhambra-esque patio. Each corner of the house has been designed to enchant and soothe. In the spacious living room is a magnicent grand piano and the impressive mountain panorama seen through the huge picture windows is a source of inspiration for any musician.The kitchen is charmingly rustic but well equipped and meals can be taken in front of the aged stone hearth in the beamed dining room or outside in the pale green shade cast by the lovely old carob tree. Two twin bedrooms share a bathroom on the ground oor whilst on the upper level there are two double bedrooms each with its own bathroom. An adjacent, selfcontained studio cottage (which is never let separately) is available along with the main house to groups of six or more guests.
The ve acres of exotic gardens are a riot of colour with not a few hidden treasures. Perfumed pathways zigzag the hillside, passing amongst spiky yuccas, roses and lavender, leading to a tempting naturally-shaped pool. Literally on the doorstep is the glorious countryside of the Grazalema Natural Park, with the quiet whitewashed village of El Gastor just three kilometres away. PROPERTY DETAILS
