This unique and fascinating apartment is situated between and partially in one of San Gimignano's famous 13th century towers. Designed by a famous architect and furnished in a minimalist style, the Torri Gemelle offers the most unusual and memorable holiday accommodation you could imagine, provided that you are not averse to heights. The apartment may not be suitable for the less mobile as it is split level, with a few internal deep steps and a flight of stairs leading to bedroom/bathroom. The entrance door from the square leads to a small private lift which takes you up to the apartment. Here, there is a living room with large picture windows overlooking the square, a small kitchen and downstairs there is a bathroom, one master bedroom with four poster bed.The lift also takes you up to a terrace at the very top of the tower, from where there are absolutely amazing views over the town and for miles around in every direction. The shops and restaurants of San Gimignano are literally on your doorstep and the town itself is quite magical at night when the day-trippers have left. Conveniently located just outside the town walls of San Gimignano,Villetta Casa Alberto enjoys a peaceful location with uninterrupted views over the beautiful, surrounding valleys. Originally a hay store, this tiny building has been lovingly converted.The entrance door leads straight into the living room/kitchen area from which metal stairs lead to a small gallery with a double bed. A compact little shower room is tucked underneath the gallery. Outside is a large covered terrace which gives additional living space and the private lawn with lighting creates an enchanting setting to spend a relaxing evening. An important plus, unusual in the centre of San Gimignano, is the adjacent private parking space for the exclusive use of guests.
