£1,195 This is a 10-day overland tour from Bangkok to the world-renowned ancient Khmer temples of Angkor Wat, including three nights in the jungles of Northern Thailand on the way. The tour includes half-board, shared accommodation, transportation, entrance fees and guides. Starting from Bangkok with a night in the 5-star Sofitel Silom, the group goes to the province of Isaan and stays at the splendid Jungle House in Khao Yai National Park which has a wonderful variety of wildlife including elephants, tigers, gibbons and deer. The group will stay in the Jungle House for three nights and then travel on to Cambodia for four days and nights in Siem Reap, home to the temples of Angkor Wat. The renowned temples are among South East Asias historical and cultural highlights, listed in 1992 by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. People will stay in the 5-star Sofitel Royal Angkor from where they will visit the main temples, enjoy courses with the facilitators, take a trip to Tonle Sap great lake and visit the Fine Art School and local markets. Then back to Bangkok for one more night and morning shopping. It is also possible to book extra nights in Bangkok, or to stay on for the next Thailand session in Koh Chang. Accommodation and food In Bangkok, Skyros participants stay at the 5-star Sofitel Silom, in Siem Reap at Sofitel Royal Angkor, and in the Khao Yai National Park at the beautiful Jungle House. Thai cuisine has a worldwide reputation and Cambodian food is similar, with a French twist.
