Located in the small village of Bridstow, just one mile north of the ancient town of Ross on Wye, Cherry Tree Cottage is a beautifully renovated former agricultural worker's cottage suitable for up to 4 adults and two small children. The majestic River Wye, teeming with wildlife, offers something for everyone to enjoy. The viewpoint of Yat Rock along with the riverside villages of Symonds Yat East and West are some of the most popular destinations in the Wye Valley with forest walks, canoeing, fishing, boat cruises and cream teas . Other local attractions include Goodrich Castle, a number of National Trust properties and gentle walking and cycling in the beautiful Forest of Dean. Within easy reach are the Golden Valley to Hay on Wye, Hereford, the Malverns and the eastern area of the Brecon Beacons National Park. There are a number of excellent country pubs within 2-10 miles.
Accommodation
Entrance into the well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, electric range cooker, microwave and fridge. Exterior utility room with freezer, washing and drying machines. Separate dining room with steps up to the pretty sitting room with Freeview TV/DVD, open fireplace with an initial supply of logs and a well stocked books and games cupboard. Adjacent corridor leads to a few steps up to the spacious conservatory with heating and comfortable seating and doors to the terrace with outside seating, small BBQ and established garden with lawn and space for children to play. On the first floor are 2 double bedrooms and a children's bunk bedroom. Small bathroom with over bath shower. In the garden is a water feature, a summerhouse/games room with table tennis and a spacious grassed area ideal for children's activities. Private, off road parking for up to three cars. No Smoking.
