Travel by Sea

Rail Travel
Rail travel is subject to the relevant terms and conditions of the particular railway undertaking and, where applicable, the provisions of the Convention concerning the International Carriage by Rail (COTIF) of 9 May 1980 including the Uniform Regulations concerning the contract of International Rail Passenger and Luggage Traffic (CIV) contained in Appendix A of the Convention. Details are available on request. The prices in pounds sterling shown in this publication apply only in the UK. Prices are valid until further notice. Before you book, we may change the services described in this publication, including prices and departure dates and times. As all connections cannot be guaranteed you are strongly advised to check train times before travelling. See contact details opposite.
Railcard Reduction
Where railcard reductions are valid, proof of identity is required at time of booking and when travelling.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking. A £3 charge applies to credit card bookings, no charge for payment by debit card.
Day Trips
Only hand luggage (1 piece) is allowed for day trips.
Cancellation and Amendment Charges
Cancellation of your booking before 20:00 hrs on day before departure is subject to a full refund however a £10 administration fee will apply.
Amendment of date/time to your booking
Before 20:00 hrs on day before departure will be charged a £10 administration fee. However, this may vary with different types of fare. Please check at time of booking.
Carriage of Bicycles
Bicycles incur a £5 charge and you are advised to check with the relevant railway operator that they can be carried on the train.
