ISTRIA The province of Istria is a triangularshaped peninsula sloping gently into the Adriatic sea. Istrias rolling green landscapes and winding country roads, as well as its understated air of quiet sophistication, draw inevitable comparisons with Tuscany. Churches and museums share a centuries-old history and Istria is interwoven with a surprisingly rich wine tradition handed down from its Roman and Greek ancestors. Boat trips set sail from the busy harbour, and delightful beaches can be found outside the city at Premantura on the Cape of Kamenjak, the southernmost tip of the Istrian peninsula. Probably the most well-known resort on the Istrian Riviera. Its a town of pleasant sun and warm sea, as well as an array of cultural monuments. Porec Ø is also a great choice for lovers of outdoor activities. Distance from airport approximately 55 kilometres. U M AG Located on a scenic stretch of rugged coastline, dotted with secluded coves. A variety of shops, bars and cafés occupy the pedestrianised areas. The marina enjoys stunning views of the bay and is home to a number of excellent seafood restaurants. Distance from airport approximately 80 kilometres.
