High above Trapezaki's sandy beach and conveniently close to the sea and a few nearby bars and tavernas, the Alekata villas offer modern, comfortable accommodation in a quiet and splendidly scenic location. There are fabulous views along the coastline to Lourdas and across the sea to the island of Zakynthos from each of the lovely Alekata Villas. Three of the four villas are identical in design and layout except that two are semi-detached, the other is detached and all share a swimming pool and the use of a communal dining area, but each has its own private patio facing the grassy lawns around the pool. Individually named Olga, Tassos and Panyiotis, the villas are arranged with an open-plan
lounge and kitchen leading to a covered terrace with splendid sea views. The double bedroom has an adjacent bathroom and also opens onto the seafacing terrace, whilst an open wooden staircase leads to a mezzanine level with a small lounge area outside the twin bedroom. From here a spiral staircase leads up to a double bedroom with an adjacent bathroom. At lower ground level a large studio room is home to twin beds, a dining area and kitchen and a bathroom. The fourth of the Alekata Villas, Villa Myrtos is different in design from its sister houses, but shares their scenic and tranquil location within easy reach of a good-size beach, a couple of tavernas, a cocktail bar and a local supermarket. Villa Myrtos is of an unusual turreted design, perched on a hill top looking towards craggy mountains in one direction and over Trapezaki beach to the sea in the other. This detached house lies in its own landscaped garden and is arranged on three levels, with a furnished roof top terrace boasting dramatic panoramic views and reached by an external staircase. On the ground floor a split-level, open-plan living room and kitchen has patio doors opening onto a private patio facing the lawns around the swimming pool.
