Vale de Parra lies five kilometres west of Albufeira and is an area of low hills and fertile plains sprinkled liberally with whitewashed holiday homes and over two dozen eateries. Between here and Praia da Galé there are wonderful beaches from the glorious sandy expanse of Salgados and Galé itself to picturesque, intimate coves at Castelo, São Rafael and Coelha. At either end of the valley are the superb Salgados Golf Club and the colourful Albufeira marina. Despite their rural tranquillity, our villas are all within easy reach of shops, bars and plenty of restaurants and only a few kilometres from the nearest beach. All our villas have private swimming pools with sunny poolside terraces from which there are often lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
Interior design and décor vary from villa to villa of course, but all villas offer comfortable, well-equipped accommodation, usually with open-plan lounge/diners adjoining modern kitchens and opening onto the poolside terrace and two or three bedrooms sharing at least one bathroom. Casa Tulipa is situated in a residential avenue in Patroves, high above Vale de Parra. The villa is just three kilometres from Albufeira's colourful marina or four kilometres from the popular old town where the town square is home to restaurants, lively bars and in high season entertaining street performers. Three kilometres away are the gorgeous beaches of São Rafael, Lourenço and Evaristo, all featuring excellent waterside restaurants. A neat cobbled drive bordered by flower beds and rock gardens leads up to the villa whose delightful pool area is bordered by a paved terrace and a plantfringed lawn and boasts lovely ocean views across the valley.
Inside the lounge/diner is a light and airy room which opens onto the poolside terrace and adjoins the kitchen. Three steps lead from the lounge to a bathroom and three bedrooms, the double having an adjacent bathroom and all opening directly onto the poolside terrace.
