HOLIDAY INFORMATION Alcohol - Floridas liquor laws are strictly enforced. If youre under 21, or even look under 21, you cannot buy alcohol. Also, it is against the law to carry alcohol in the passenger area of the car, so always put alcohol in the boot. YOUR FLIGHT When booking your holiday with Style, we can offer a wide choice of flights at very competitive prices. Due to the range of different flight options we can offer, we include only brief flight details in our brochure, but you will find lots of information on our website or by asking your travel agent or calling us direct. Our preferred airline is Thomas Cook Airlines and below you will find some useful information about Thomas Cook Airlines along with some general information applicable to all flights available to book through Style. Please also read the important information about checking in for your flight. SMOKING Restrictive legislation against smoking in public places is becoming increasingly common in destinations worldwide. You may find that your hotel or areas within your hotel and holiday resort operate enforced smoking restrictions. Fines may be imposed for breaching regulations. To find out more visit the FCO website www.fco.gov.uk DRIVING Laws, licensing requirements and age limits vary throughout the world. We recommend you check with your travel agent, or the relevant embassy or consulate. Driving in Florida is very easy, with uncrowded roads, clear signposting and petrol stations everywhere. Petrol is about $2.40 a gallon and a supply of quarters is essential for paying road tolls. To avoid parking tickets, always park with your rear number plate on view to passing police cars. CHARTER & SCHEDULED FLIGHTS We are able to offer a choice of charter and scheduled flights (including no frills/low cost carriers). Charter flights are regular but generally not daily flights and are organised by tour operators, whereas Scheduled flights are based on pre-determined schedules set by airlines. Charter flights usually operate directly from the departure location to the destination without any intermediate stops so can be the quickest and cheapest way to reach your destination, usually these flights don't operate on a previously fixed schedule. A scheduled flight may have intermediate stops or require connecting flights and some scheduled airlines work in partnership with other airlines to give more choice and better onward connections. GENERAL INFORMATION PHOTOGRAPHY Some of the atmospheric photography shown in conjunction with particular accommodation and resorts advertised in this brochure (e.g. kids playing on a beach or close-up in a pool) was shot on location and not at the accommodation or resort concerned. FLYING WITH THOMAS COOK AIRLINES Providing you with the ultimate in flexibility, Thomas Cook Airlines are able to offer a number of pre-bookable flight services, which should be booked no later than 7 days prior to departure. (If you are not flying with Thomas Cook Airlines, please contact your airline direct or consult with your travel agent). Seating: as the airlines allocate the seating on their planes, we recommend that you check in early if you would like a specific seat or to sit together. Seats together: you can reserve seats together on Thomas Cook Airlines flights and some other charter flights at the time of booking for charges of up to £20 per person. We aim to sit parties together, side by side, however, in some circumstances, depending on the size of the group and/or configuration of the aircraft, sitting together could be either side of the aisle or directly behind one another. Seat number: you can also pre-book your seat number on selected Thomas Cook Airlines flights. You must first reserve your seats together with Style Holidays, then you can select your seat number at a cost of £10 return per seat, by contacting Thomas Cook Airlines on 0844 855 0515 or online at www.thomascookairlines.co.uk. Thomas Cook Airlines UK Ltd cannot guarantee to have a peanut-free environment onboard an aircraft and is not able to change or modify the cabin environment by individual request. Carriage of infants (0-24 months): Infants must be over 6 weeks (2 weeks with Thomas Cook Airlines) to travel by air and must either sit on an adults lap or occupy a car seat in which case full seats prices will apply. Infants must be aged at least 6 months to occupy a car seat. If traveling with Thomas Cook Airlines contact Pre Flight Services Department on 0844 855 0515 for information.
