GOUVIA Gouvia is a family-friendly resort thats big enough to have a variety of shops and places to eat, but small enough not to be too busy. Visitors will find cuisine of all kinds in the villages many restaurants, a couple of excellent supermarkets and a safe pebbly beach with a variety of watersports. At the edge of the resort, the modern marina is home to some stylish yachts, cafés, patisseries and a restaurant also one of the islands three cricket pitches. The nearby resort village of Kontokali has a blue-flag beach and a few more bars and places to eat. Distance from airport approximately 9 kilometres. B A R B AT I Either side of the coastal road from Corfu town, Barbati is a fairly small resort where peace and quiet are very much the order of the day and the evening. The resorts mile long, blueflag beach enjoys wonderful views across the sea from its pebbly shoreline to the Albanian coast. There are a couple of tavernas along the beach itself, from which several small roads lead up the hillside to the main resort where there are several shops, a supermarket or two, a couple of bars and a reasonable selection of places to eat. Distance from airport approximately 20 kilometres. NISSAKI Nestling in the foothills of Mount Pantokrator, Nissaki is a tranquil town with a laid-back lifestyle centred around three pretty, white pebble beaches. Watersports can be enjoyed on all the beaches and each has a handful of waterside tavernas. A few more tavernas and a scattering of supermarkets can be found along the coastal road, with our holiday villas located up the encompassing hillside. Visitors seeking brighter lights and livelier attractions need simply drive a short way up the coast to Kassiopi or down to Ipsos. Distance from airport approximately 25 kilometres. KALAMI Between the bay of Agni and Kouloura Harbour, Kalami lies around a beautiful bay, reached by a steep drive down through olive groves to its blue-flag white shingle beach. Famous as the home of the author Lawrence Durrells White House, the village also offers a choice of supermarkets, a few tavernas, bars and restaurants and a couple of gift shops. Distance from airport approximately 32 kilometres. AG H I O S S T E FA N O S Aghios Stefanos was once a fishing village and has grown into a pretty and popular resort which is home to many stylish holiday villas. Surrounded by hills sweeping down to its small harbour, the town still has a thriving Greek community who welcome its visitors with traditional warmth and hospitality in the shops, bars and waterside tavernas and encourage a friendly, lively atmosphere after dark. Aghios Stefanos has its own small beach, whilst the small shingly beach of Kerasia fringes one side of the bay and the beach at Avlaki is on the other side. Distance from airport approximately 40 kilometres.
