Sitting on a hillside a kilometre away from the pretty resort of Bali, Villa Dimitris enjoys an ideal location close to plenty of amenities from a bank and a pharmacy, to shops, bars and a variety of tavernas. There are no few than four beaches to choose from within easy reach, the nearest of which is only a kilometre or so away. This single-storey villa lies in tranquil surroundings and has a delightful garden and pool area surrounded by a stone wall and enjoying views across olive trees to the mountains and the sea. A pergola-shaded terrace overlooks the swimming pool and there's a charming mural of a dolphin on the wall opposite the patio doors which open into the house.
Here an open-plan living area is home to comfortable seating, a dining suite and the kitchen. The bedrooms are both pleasantly decorated and share a bathroom. The double room has patio doors onto a path leading to the garden and the twin room faces the garden and the poolside terrace. A really lovely stone-built villa, perched on top of a hill in tranquil surroundings, Villa Faragi appears quite isolated, with just a few other villas scattered around on the surrounding hills. Yet the bustling town of Rethymnon is only five kilometres away, it's only two kilometres to the lively resort of Platanes and the village of Maroulas can be reached on foot via a rather tricky path down the hillside. A steep drive leads up to the house from the main gate. The pool area is largely laid to lawn and has a lovely patio with fantastic views across the valley below to the sea.
The villas interior design features stone walls and beamed ceilings with an archway linking the kitchen to an openplan living room with a door opening onto the pool area and the garden. Sharing a jacuzzi bathroom are two ground floor bedrooms, one of which faces the swimming pool. Upstairs, the double bedroom adjoins a shower room with a hydro-massage shower and has a large balcony which boasts the same fabulous views as the pool area.
