Tal Patri is an exceedingly pretty house which can be found in the hamlet of Ghammar, home to the famous church of Ta Pinu. Within a ten minutes' drive there are a variety of restaurants in nearby Gharb or in the island's capital Victoria. Next door to our Villa Ghammar 85 with a lockable door which connects the pool areas - ideal for larger groups travelling together but still wanting a degree of privacy. Entrance to the villa is via a flower-filled courtyard from which a door opens into a twin bedroom with an en suite shower room and separate glass doors lead into the lounge. The villa's interior is stylishly designed with arched ceilings and a mixture of antique and contemporary furnishings.
Patio doors open onto the sunny poolside terrace around the L-shaped swimming pool from both the lounge and the kitchen/diner, both spacious rooms linked by an archway. Although we offer this as only a two bedroom villa, there are actually three. Upstairs the double bedroom has an en suite shower room and a balcony with views of the lighthouse and the sea and the second twin bedroom also has a scenic balcony, as well as its own en suite shower room reached by a few steps. Adjoining our Tal Patri villa, this charming old mill house dates back to 1850 and enjoys views stretching out to the Tal Gordon lighthouse and beyond to the sea. It's on the edge of Ghammar, a quiet and sleepy little place that attracts those looking for a peaceful, perhaps romantic, getaway. The nearest minimarket in Ghasri can be reached on foot, while beaches and larger shops are all within easy driving distance. Like its sister villa we offer it as a two bedroom villa but there are actually three bedrooms. A spacious conversion with an interesting layout and attractive décor, this semi-detached villa has four floors, including the lower-ground (which is part of the split-level, openplan kitchen and lounge/diner), and three bedrooms.
A double and a twin occupy the first floor, along with two shower rooms, while another double and third shower room take up the second floor. As a result, it's an excellent option for families, while larger groups will also find it convenient when taken along with the Tal Patri. Outside, a small garden, swimming pool and sun-filled terrace create a lovely space, and the two properties are linked here by a lockable door.
