Glacier Express Route: Zermatt ­ Brig ­ Andermatt ­ Chur ­ Davos / St. Moritz (or vice versa) The Glacier Express is known as the `slowest express train in the world' and is the most popular scenic journey in Switzerland. The entire journey from Zermatt to St. Moritz takes around 8 hours and is a real experience. Cruise Lake Lucerne on a historic paddle steamer, before taking the train to Lugano.
