Programme
Day 1 Arrival Take the Eurostar from St. Pancras or Ebbsfleet to Paris. If travelling 1st class breakfast/lunch or dinner is included. Overnight in Paris. Day 2 Free day in Paris Day at leisure in Paris. Explore this romantic and most popular of European cities, enjoy one of the many street cafés or simply indulge in a bit of shopping. Overnight in Paris. Day 3 TGV to Lausanne or Geneva Onward journey by TGV from Paris Gare de Lyon to Geneva or Lausanne. There are several trains to choose from. All TGV trains offer 1st or 2nd class carriages and a buffet carriage. The journey time is approximately 3.30 - 4 hours. Overnight in Geneva or Lausanne. Day 4 Free day in Lausanne or Geneva See page 34 for ideas of what to do in Geneva or page 48/49 for Lausanne. Day 5 Departure Return journey to London. In the morning, you depart from Geneva/Lausanne to Paris Gare de Lyon. Transfer by metro or taxi (not included) to Paris Gare du Nord where you board the Eurostar to London St. Panrcras. If travelling in 1st class lunch or dinner included. The entire journey takes approximately 8 hours.
