There is a reasonable amount of walking involved, especially at Mt. Sinai, Petra and Dana. Be prepared for dry and dusty desert conditions. Charter bus, boat, on foot, camel, 4WD Hotels (9nts), resthouse (1nt), Bedouin-style camp (1nt) Hotels generally have en suite facilities. The resthouse is more rustic with shared facilities; it has stunning views over Dana. Following a visit to the crusader castle of Kerak, your trip ends with a couple of days relaxing at the Dead Sea.
