Riding bicycle rickshaws through Old Delhi's chaotic and narrow streets, tiger spotting in Ranthambore, visiting the Taj Mahal at sunrise and the warm and welcoming nature of the local people we encountered were just a few of the many highlights for us. Trip Highlights hustle and bustle of Old Delhi's narrow streets and hectic bazaars. Explore the city's gems by minibus viewing mosques and temples squeezed into unlikely places between shops and market stalls. Taj Mahal Travelling by train to Agra you set out to discover what has been described as the world's most beautiful building. The Taj Mahal is the finest example of Mughal architecture, combining elements from Persian, Indian, and Islamic architectural style. Tigers & Wildlife A wonderful blend of historical ruins and wildlife, Ranthambore National Park really is the Jungle Book brought to life. Experience two exciting safari drives, one early morning and the other before dusk, where you'll go in search of crocodiles, deer, leopards, monkeys ­ and Bengal tigers! Rural Rajasthan Your journey through the princely state of Rajasthan will take you to rural Shekhawati to meet welcoming local people, learn about their traditional ways of life and discover sumptuously decorated mansions known as havelis. Is it suitable for my family? Minimum age: 7 years. A fantastic eye-opening trip taking in the major sights of the Golden Triangle. Expect to experience a very different culture and approach to life and be prepared for the heat and surprising chill of early morning game drives!
